Introducing the new generation curing agent Phenalkamine

FTE imports and distributes Phenalkamine curing agent that can replace polyamide-based curing agent with new Phenalkemin technology. Phenalkamine has main ingredient is cardanol distilled from cashew nut shell oil. Polyamide is also found in the polyamide production material which is cardanol in the previous production technology, but the quality is not as outstanding as phenylamine and the price is high.

Phenalkamin curing agent – Phenalkamin hardener is a breakthrough in the epoxy resin chemical industry, now curing agent Phenalkamin is widely used to replace polyamide in many countries with cheaper price than polyamide, superior quality with low input curing materials (mainly non-toxic cardanol, few additives such as polyamide)

– Epoxy hardener has many different types such as Amidoamines, Polyamides, Aliphatic amines, adducts, mannish base, Cycloaliphatics, Ketamines, Novolac, Amino resin, Isocyanate, Mecarptan, Polyester resin, Anhydride, Dicyandiamide … with each different features and applications.

The types of polyamide you can find at retail are:

Polyamide – TETA white color, high cost, low in use with Epoxy, extremely fast response => difficult to manipulate and requires skilled workers, the product is often brittle and easily broken

Dark yellow to brown polyamide is produced by previous technology, the amount of use with Epoxy is high, the odor is high, the reaction is slow, the price is lower TETA but still not superior to the phenylamine curing technology.
